Job Summary: Zamar Springs Gardens is seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Waiters/Waitresses to join our food and beverage team. The ideal candidates will hold a diploma or degree in hospitality or a related field and will be dedicated to providing exceptional service to our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guest Service: Greet and escort guests to their tables, present menus, and provide detailed information when asked (e.g., about portions, ingredients, or potential food allergies).
- Order Taking: Take accurate food and beverage orders, relay them to the kitchen staff, and ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Serving: Serve food and beverages to guests in a professional and courteous manner.
- Knowledge: Stay informed about menu offerings, special promotions, and restaurant policies to effectively answer guest inquiries.
- Cleanliness: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables, refilling condiments, and ensuring proper sanitation.
- Billing: Prepare bills, process payments, and transactions accurately.
- Customer Relations: Address guest concerns and complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive dining experience.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth operation and high-quality service.
- Safety and Compliance: Adhere to health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Education: Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, in food and beverage service/production Culinary Arts, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 2-3 years’ work experience as a waitress in a Hotel / Restaurant.
- Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Attributes: Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor. Strong attention to detail and a team player.
- Working Conditions: Flexible working hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand and move for extended periods.
